Our Evolution
Center for Advancing Community was born from the legacy of Diversity Talks, an organization that laid the foundation for meaningful dialogue and community engagement. We are deeply grateful for the work that Diversity Talks began—its vision sparked important conversations and created space for the voices of youth and the community.
Our new purpose represents a bold and necessary step forward—one that allows us to better align with current and future demands. Our work has expanded well beyond the original scope, vision, and reach. We now offer entirely new, evidence-based programming developed by our expert curriculum team, focused on creating sustained impact and community-driven change.
Above all, we are driven by our responsibility to help develop our partners and young people. By embracing an identity that truly reflects our present and future, we’re positioned to make an even greater impact—together.
Why the Change?
Our renewed mission and vision reflect our commitment to collaborative, supportive partnerships and to centering the lived experiences of those we serve. Like many youth-, education-, and community-focused organizations, we operate with innovation, agility, and ongoing assessment at our core. Our rebranding reflects this mindset. Adopting the Center for Advancing Community name is more than a new title—it’s a clear signal of who we are now and who we are becoming.
